ELECTRONIC RECYCLING AND DOCUMENT DESTRUCTION DATES FOR 2019
Listed below are the dates, times and location for membership counties Electronic Recycling Events and Document Destruction events. At the bottom of the page is a link that will take you to a list what what can, and cannot be recycled at these events. Please note that Union County will accept TV's for a $20 charge and $10 for CTR monitors at these events.  Banks County will only be having a Document Destruction Event as electronic recycling is available year round at the recycling processing center. We wish to thank our partners, Document Destruction Service and Atlanta Recycling Solutions for working with us to provide these services.
 
FOR UNION COUNTY RESIDENTS:
 
On OCTOBER 26, 2019 FROM 10 UNTIL NOON we will hold our Document Destrucion and Electronics Recycling event in Union County. Last year through generous donations from the people who came to use the service, we were able to donate $1330.00 to the Mountian Shelter. We do appreciate all who made a donation to the Mountain Shelter while coming through this event.
Thanks so much to our partners, Document Destruction Service, Atlanta Recycling Solutions, Union County and the Mountain Shelter, for providing their services so that we can host this event. Our location this year will be in the front parking lot of the Technical College located at 121 Meeks Avenue, Blairsville, Ga. 30512

 
FOR BANKS COUNTY RESIDENTS: 
 
For Banks County, we provide full time electronics recycling at the Banks County Recycling Center at R&B Waste Management. We are unable to accept TV's, micriwaves or CPU computer monitors at this location.
 The following date has been set up for Document Destruction in BANKS COUNTY 
February 9, 2019 FROM 9 UNTIL 3:30
Any citizen of Banks County may take their documents to Document Destruction Service on Damascus Road in Homer on February 9th and have them destroyed at no charge.
